Dollar Store DIY – Neon Mirror

I’ve received many compliments on this mirror, possibly because it’s unavoidably vibrant. The best part is it only cost $6.00 to make. Dollarama is currently selling the mirrors below. I popped out the mirror and spray painted the frame with two coats of Krylon florescent. Easy.

  1. I was soooooo bummed about the color of this paint. I guess it’s neon and it’s pink, but it’s certainly not what I was looking for when I picked it up off the shelf. It doesn’t even match the cap. And it dries FLAT! What the…? Did it rub off onto your hands every time you touched it even days after it dried? Mine did, and I painted a desk lamp with it, so it’s going to get touched. I’ll be sanding it all back off again. I wish I had seen this post first so I had a better idea of what to expect. 😉

  2. Would you have any idea where to look online? I don’t even know what the name of them is but I need as many as I can get my hands on
